Managing Your Subscription
Handle all aspects of your Lovarank subscription from the billing settings. Update payment methods, view invoices, and manage your plan.
Accessing Billing Settings
- Click your profile icon in the sidebar
- Select your account settings
- Navigate to the Billing section
Or look for billing options in your account settings area.
Viewing Your Plan
The billing page shows:
- Current plan — What you're subscribed to
- Credits remaining — How many articles you can generate
- Renewal date — When your next billing cycle starts
- Monthly price — What you pay each cycle
Managing Payment Methods
Viewing Cards
Your saved payment methods appear in the billing section. You can see:
- Card type and last four digits
- Expiration date
- Which card is default
Adding a Payment Method
- Navigate to billing settings
- Click Add Payment Method or the equivalent option
- Enter your card details
- Save the card
Updating a Card
If your card expires or details change:
- Add a new payment method
- Set it as default
- Remove the old card
Removing a Card
- Find the card in your payment methods
- Click remove or delete
- Confirm the removal
Note: You must have at least one valid payment method to maintain your subscription.
Viewing Invoices
Invoice History
Access your past invoices to see:
- Invoice date
- Amount charged
- Payment status
Downloading Invoices
Click on any invoice to download a PDF for your records. Invoices include:
- Your billing details
- Line items and charges
- Payment method used
- Tax information (if applicable)
Invoice Emails
Invoices are automatically emailed to your account email address when charges process.
Understanding Charges
Subscription Fees
Your monthly fee charges on the same date each month, based on when you first subscribed.
Upgrade Charges
If you upgrade mid-cycle:
- You're charged the prorated difference
- New features activate immediately
- Your next full charge reflects the new plan
Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- You receive an email notification
- We attempt to charge again
- A grace period maintains your access
- Update your payment method to avoid interruption
Canceling Your Subscription
How to Cancel
- Navigate to billing settings
- Find the cancel or manage subscription option
- Follow the cancellation flow
- Confirm your cancellation
What Happens After Cancellation
- Access continues until your current period ends
- Generated articles remain in your account
- You won't be charged again
- You can resubscribe anytime
Reactivating
Changed your mind? Simply subscribe again through the billing page. Your account history and previous articles are preserved.

- Credits reset at the beginning of each cycle
- Charges process on your billing date

Find your current billing cycle dates in the billing section, including when credits reset.
Tax Information
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax depends on:
- Your location
- Local tax regulations
- Your tax-exempt status (if applicable)
Tax Exemption
If your organization is tax-exempt:
- Contact support with your exemption documentation
- We'll update your account accordingly
- Future invoices reflect the exemption
VAT (EU Customers)
EU businesses can provide a VAT number:
- Enter your VAT ID in billing settings
- VAT may be reverse-charged
- This appears on your invoices
Troubleshooting
Payment Declined
- Verify card details are correct
- Check the card hasn't expired
- Ensure sufficient funds
- Contact your bank if issues persist
- Try a different card
Missing Invoice
- Check your spam folder
- Verify your billing email address
- Download directly from billing history
- Contact support to resend
Unexpected Charge
- Review your billing history
- Check for plan changes or upgrades
- Contact support for clarification
Can't Access Features
- Verify your payment processed successfully
- Check your subscription is active
- Ensure you haven't exceeded credit limits
- Contact support if issues persist

Keep your payment method current to avoid interruption. We'll notify you before cards expire or if payments fail, but updating proactively ensures uninterrupted access.
