Article Preferences
Article preferences control how your content is generated. Set defaults for writing style, content features, and visual elements that apply to all new articles.
Accessing Article Preferences
- Click Product Settings in the sidebar
- Scroll to the Article Preferences section
Auto Publish
Toggle whether articles should automatically publish after generation.
- Enabled — Articles publish to your connected integrations immediately after generation
- Disabled — Articles are generated as drafts for you to review first
Most users keep this disabled to review content before publishing.
Article Style
Choose the default writing style for your articles:
| Style | Best For |
|---|---|
| Informative | Educational content that teaches and explains |
| Persuasive | Content that convinces readers to take action |
| Conversational | Friendly, approachable content |
| Professional | Formal, business-oriented content |
| Technical | Detailed, expert-level explanations |
The style affects word choice, sentence structure, and overall tone.
Internal Links
Set how many internal links to include in each article. The slider ranges from 0-10.
Recommendations:
- 2-3 links — Good for shorter articles
- 3-5 links — Standard for most content
- 5-7 links — Appropriate for comprehensive guides
Internal links only work if you've configured your sitemap in Blog Settings and run link detection in Linking Configuration.
Global Instructions
Add custom instructions that apply to every article generated for this product. Use this for specific requirements like:
- "Always mention our free trial offer in the conclusion"
- "Avoid using the word 'utilize' — use 'use' instead"
- "Include a comparison to competitors when relevant"
- "End each section with a practical takeaway"
These instructions influence the AI's writing process for all future articles.
Image Style
Select the visual style for AI-generated images:
| Style | Description |
|---|---|
| Photography | Realistic photo-style images |
| Illustration | Hand-drawn or digital illustration style |
| 3D Render | Three-dimensional rendered graphics |
| Flat Design | Clean, modern flat illustration |
| Watercolor | Artistic watercolor painting style |
| Sketch | Pencil or pen sketch aesthetic |
Choose a style that matches your brand's visual identity.
Brand Color
Set your primary brand color using the color picker or entering a hex code (e.g., #7C3AED). This color is used:
- In AI-generated images to match your brand
- As accents in visual elements
Background Color
Set a secondary/background color for visual elements. This provides contrast with your brand color in generated images.
Content Features
Toggle these options to include or exclude specific content elements:
Include YouTube Videos
When enabled, Lovarank embeds relevant YouTube videos that enhance the article content.
Include Call-to-Action
When enabled, your configured CTAs are naturally integrated into articles at appropriate points.
Include Infographics
When enabled, the AI may generate infographic-style images to visualize data or concepts.
Include Emojis
When enabled, articles may include relevant emojis to add personality and visual interest.
Remove Watermark
Premium feature that removes Lovarank branding from generated images.
Tips for Optimal Settings
Start with Defaults
If you're new to Lovarank, start with the default settings. Adjust as you see what works for your audience.
Match Your Brand
Ensure image style and colors align with your existing brand guidelines for visual consistency.
Be Specific in Global Instructions
Clear, specific instructions produce better results than vague guidance. Instead of "write well," specify what "well" means for your brand.
Test and Iterate
Generate a few articles with your current settings, evaluate the results, then refine. Small adjustments can significantly impact output quality.
Balance Features
Not every article needs every feature. If you find CTAs feel forced, reduce frequency. If videos seem irrelevant, disable them. Quality matters more than quantity of features.
These preferences set defaults for new articles. You can override settings for individual articles using the settings button on keyword cards in the Content Calendar.
