Sitemap URL
Enter the URL of your website's sitemap. This is typically located at:
https://yoursite.com/sitemap.xmlhttps://yoursite.com/sitemap_index.xmlhttps://yoursite.com/post-sitemap.xml
Why Provide Your Sitemap?
When you configure your sitemap:
- Internal Linking — Lovarank can suggest relevant links to your existing articles when generating new content
- Content Discovery — We understand what topics you've already covered
- Consistency — New articles complement rather than duplicate existing content
Finding Your Sitemap
Most CMS platforms automatically generate sitemaps:
WordPress: Usually at /sitemap.xml or /sitemap_index.xml (if using Yoast or Rank Math)
Webflow: Found at /sitemap.xml
Shopify: Located at /sitemap.xml
Ghost: Available at /sitemap.xml
Framer: Check your site settings for the sitemap location
If you're unsure, try visiting yoursite.com/sitemap.xml in your browser.
Blog URL
Enter the URL of your blog section. This might be:
https://yoursite.com/bloghttps://yoursite.com/articleshttps://blog.yoursite.com
This helps Lovarank understand where your content lives and generate appropriate internal links.
Best Articles
Add URLs to your best-performing or most representative articles. These serve as style references for generated content.
How to Add Articles
Click in the Best Articles field and paste a full URL to one of your articles. Press Enter to add it. You can add multiple articles.
What Makes a Good Reference?
Choose articles that:
- Represent your ideal tone and style
- Are well-structured and comprehensive
- Reflect how you want future content to sound
- Have performed well with your audience
How Reference Articles Help
Lovarank analyzes your example articles to understand:
- Your writing style and voice
- How you structure content
- What length you typically aim for
- How you use formatting, lists, and headings
New articles will more closely match your established style.
Configuration Tips
Keep URLs Current
If you restructure your site or change URLs, update these settings to keep internal linking working properly.
Quality Over Quantity
For best articles, choose 3-5 strong examples rather than many mediocre ones. Quality references produce better results.
Match Your Goals
Select reference articles that represent what you want more of. If you want longer, more comprehensive content, choose your best long-form pieces.
Include Variety
If you write different types of content (guides, tutorials, reviews), include examples of each type you want Lovarank to produce.
Sitemap Integration
After adding your sitemap URL, you'll want to configure Linking Configuration in the sidebar for full internal linking functionality. This is where you run detection to discover your existing pages.
See Internal Linking for more details on setting up automatic internal linking.
Sitemap and blog URL settings are used for reference only—they don't grant Lovarank any access to modify your existing content. We only read publicly available pages.
