Viewing Articles

Content History gives you a complete view of every article in your account—pending, generated, and published—all in one searchable table.

Accessing Content History

Click Content History in the sidebar to open the article list. You'll see a table displaying all your articles with key information at a glance.

Understanding the Table

Each row represents one article with the following columns:

ImageArticle's featured image thumbnail or placeholder
TitleThe article headline (or keyword if not yet generated)
KeywordThe target search term for this article
DifficultyKeyword difficulty score (0-100)
VolumeMonthly search volume estimate
DateScheduled or publication date
StatusCurrent state: Pending, Generated, or Published
ActionsQuick links to view or open the article

Article Status

Articles appear in different states:

Pending

  • Keyword is scheduled but article hasn't been generated yet
  • These articles primarily appear in the Content Calendar
  • Clicking them takes you to the calendar

Generated

  • Article content has been created
  • Ready for review and editing
  • Not yet published to your website

Published

  • Article is live on your connected website
  • Shows a link to the published URL
  • Can still be edited and republished

Viewing an Article

From the Table

Click anywhere on an article row to open it in the editor view. This works for generated and published articles.

Using Quick Actions

Each row has action buttons:

  • View — Opens the article in the editor
  • Open — Opens the published article URL (for published articles only)

Article Detail View

When you open an article, you'll see:

Header Section

  • Article title (editable)
  • Target keyword badge
  • Status and article type badges
  • SEO metrics (search volume, difficulty, CPC)

Content Area

The full article content displayed with all formatting, images, and structure.

Metadata Panel

On the right side:

  • Article slug
  • Featured image preview
  • Meta description field
  • Save button for metadata changes

Integration Panel

If you have connected integrations:

  • List of available publishing destinations
  • Publication status for each
  • Publish/Republish buttons

Finding Specific Articles

Scrolling

The table loads your most recent articles first. Scroll down to see older content.

Using Browser Search

Use your browser's find function (Ctrl/Cmd + F) to search for specific keywords within the visible table.

Article Metrics

Keyword Difficulty

Displayed as a color-coded badge:

  • Green (0-29) — Easy to rank for
  • Yellow (30-59) — Moderate competition
  • Red (60-100) — Highly competitive

Search Volume

Shows the estimated monthly searches for the target keyword. Higher volume means more potential traffic but often more competition.

Date

Shows when the article was scheduled or when it was created, helping you track your publishing history.
